Overview
The Warm Springs Timber Company, LLC (WSTC) is a wholly owned LLC (Enterprise) of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. WSTC is seeking a Timber Sale Forester to administer awarded BIA timber sales contracts including managing third party loggers and road maintenance contractors. Duties include logging and road maintenance cost analysis, negotiations, bidding and associated documentation. Other duties include working with the log scaling and accounting staff on log scale analysis, stumpage and payment related matters. This position will be exposed to all facets of the WSTC business. The position requires 3 years field experience and a two year degree in Forestry or a closely related field. For more experience we can offer a higher salary. The job is approximately 80% field and 20% office and offers a good opportunity for personal growth within the company. We will require that within 6 months of employment the candidate will live within 50 miles of Warm Springs, Oregon and a vehicle will be provided for work and commute purposes.
