Green Diamond is currently seeking a qualified candidate for this management position at the California operations located in Humboldt County. The Silviculture Investment Manager provides high-level, quality proactive analytical support and leadership to Green Diamond Resource Company’s IFM(Intensive Forest Management) Department to assist in identifying and achieving superior investment returns through the management of the silviculture program.  This position is responsible to organize, manage, and provide the leadership required to conduct projects that focus on strategic decision making to improve the value of the California timberlands.

This position manages the Tree Improvement, Tissue Culture and Korbel Nursery as well as overseeing all aspects of the IFM department to include budgeting, deployment of programs, ROI analysis and permitting. IFM practices include reforestation, slash disposal, PCT and forest fertilization.

Requires a degree in Forestry, Resource Management, Business or related field with experience in natural resources. Must have expertice in forest management and business analysis with strong leadership ability.
