This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Forests offices: Vernon, Penticton.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.

The Authorizations Technologist provides a range of technical evaluation and advisory services to support decisions on the use of natural resources, and the achievement of resource management objectives.

Qualifications for this role include:
- Diploma in the natural resource field, or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in natural resource management.
- Experience working with natural resource management related acts and regulations.
