Senior Stewardship Resource Technologist
$69,760.70 – $79,322.69 annually

The Senior Stewardship Resource Technologist provides a range of technical evaluation and advisory services to support decisions on natural resources. These services also support the achievement and coordination of the forest stewardship aspect of natural resource management.

As an analytical thinker, you evaluate resource use applications, review proposals, consult with stakeholders and partners, and make recommendations and approvals. You consult with stakeholders and partners on natural resource proposals/initiatives in a variety of areas, such as silviculture, tenure administration, and natural resource management. Qualifications for this role include:

  • Registered, or immediately eligible for registration, as a Registered Forest Technologist with Forest Professionals BC (FPBC). Note: immediately eligible for registration is defined as being able to immediately transfer a current membership from an applicable jurisdiction to FPBC within six (6) months of employment. Applicants who are currently in-training may be considered for this position, but at a lower classification. Confirmation of registration/eligibility will be required before an offer of employment can be confirmed.
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent in a natural resource field.
